The ABG is actively supporting the Coalition for Better Ads, recently hosting a videocon presentation from Neal Thurman, Director, Coalition for Better Ads, to educate members. The coalition developed Better Ads Standards for desktop web and mobile web in 2019, based on comprehensive research involving more than 66,000 consumers. The Standards for North America and Europe were published in March 2017 and have been applied by many industry participants in their business practices.
The Standards have also been endorsed by the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA) and the International Council for Ad Self-Regulation (ICAS).
